Arizona Paydirt came about when 3 best friends decided to pack up their families and move to Arizona to chase dreams of Basketball, Farming, and Rodeos. After selling off everything we owned and purchasing multiple plots of land to chase those dreams we found a new dream, GOLD MINING. So meet the team: 

I’m Andy and I’m the crazy one! I originally wanted to come to AZ to grow Alfalfa but once I got here I realized that Saudia Arabia had cornered the market. Plus I found out you need water to grow it and the 1000 acres I purchased were bone dry. The good news is I found gold.
Even better news is now as a gold miner I can work wearing nothing but a pair of worn out holey underwear for a bit of fresh air. Sometimes I mix it up and wear nothing at all. Now, if that fantastic mental image makes you sick imagine my partners and how hard it is for them!

So I’m Ruth and I moved to Arizona to play Basketball, but unfortunately, I’m short, like really short at 4’11” and I can’t dribble or shoot so my career was very short lived. I’m a useless stump!
What I lack in dribbling and free-throw skills I more than make up for in my panning skills. So now I slam dunk my gold pans working with Andy to find the best gold on our land!

You thought I was going to be the one whose dream was basketball, didn’t you? Tell the truth! Well, you were wrong, in fact, my dream was to be the biggest Rodeo Clown makeup artist in all of Arizona.
Sadly I didn’t realize there aren’t that many clowns and none of them use makeup artists. Luckily for me teasing out curly hair is pretty much the same thing as driving a D6 Bulldozer. Okay maybe not, but heck it’s a job and I get paid in GOLD!
